Your new PowerShell ISE is Visual Studio Code

 

On may the 10th this year Microsoft annouced that PowerShell for Visual Studio code is at version 1.0 and this is the new no. 1 platform for devolping PowerShell scripts.

So we can all switch to Linux now and run Visual Studio Code. That is one of the main reasons why the team decided on focusing on Visual Studio Code rather than PowerShell ISE. If only all steam games worked on Ubuntu

Once installed, go to Extensions, type in PowerShell and whatever other extensions you desire. Install and TaDa

My Favourite feature is the “Open Folder”  and the terminal actually opens up where your script is which is nice lol
